How The Fish Finder Works

- May 13, 2018-

The fishfinder uses acoustic sonar for localization, and sonar technology is based on the principles of acoustic transmission. Detects underwater conditions, contours, formations, and depth of water (from the probe bottom). After your waver launches waves, it measures the distance by the time the sound waves touch the object.

At the same time, through the reflected acoustic signal, the fish finder can recognize the position, size, and composition of the object.

Ultrasound transducers are used to transmit signals through the air or water, ultrasonic waves are used to contact the feedback signals in the water, and then processed by the internal processor and finally displayed on the screen.
