Transom-Mount transducer

Applications
1. Not recommended for boats with large inboard engines.
2. not recommended for stepped hulls.
3. up to 44kn (50MP/H) for good operation
4. Sound speed on vertically oriented hulls with up to 30° deadrise.
5. adjustment to beam angle in 3 steps 0°, 10°, 20°.
6. Bracket protects the transducer from frontal impact only.

Mounting position
1. For best performance, the transducer must be in contact with smooth water.
To determine a clean water, observe the current on the transducer while the boat is underway.
2. Leave clear space above the bracket to rotate the transducer upwards.
3. Mount the transducer as close to the boat's centreline (keel) as possible to ensure the transducer remains in the water as the boat turns.
4. Single drive boats - Mount at least 75mm outside the propeller swing radius, with the starboard side where the propeller blades move downwards being preferred.
5. Twin drive boats - install the transducer between the drives.

Transom-Mount Mounting Tips
● Do not install in areas with turbulence or air bubbles: near water inlets or drains; behind columns, struts, fittings or hull irregularities.
● Avoid installing transducers in areas where they may support the boat during trailering, launching, hauling or storage.
